Abstract:

This study med to explore the relationship between social media usage and mental health in young adults. Utilizing surveys and interviews, we collected data from a sample size of 100 participants aged 18-25 years old who were active users of various social media platforms. We found that heavy social media use was correlated with higher levels of anxiety and depression. Additionally, it was observed that the frequency of checking social media influenced the level of perceived happiness. The findings highlight the need for individuals to be mindful of their social media habits, potentially leading to healthier mental well-being.
