First up is the built-in intervalometer feature on the camera itself. This strghtforward method allows users to set a shooting interval along with the number of shots, ranging from zero infinite shots to 99 frames. I wish it had a four-digit display instead of the current two digits!

When employing Manual exposure mode for constant lighting conditions or Av Mode during sunrises and sunsets, you might encounter flickering due to changing light levels. LRTimelapse software can help stabilize this issue by smoothing out the exposure.

Next in line is the Timelapse Movie mode found when switching from photo mode to video recording. This unique feature captures individual frames and compiles them into an 8K video file right on your camera, eliminating the need for post-processing. Enabling Auto Exposure Each Frame while shooting with Auto ISO ensures you can achieve smooth timelapses even in changing light conditions.

The third method is employing an external timer such as the Canon TC80N3 remote control or LRTimelapse Pro Timer 3.0. This option provides greater flexibility and precision over your timelapse .
